Outreach Programmes

In an idea borrowed from the Elephant Donation Project in Lampang and in conjunction with Anantara Golden Triangle we periodically invite groups of around twenty children into the camp.  The children come from orphanages, safe houses and hostels and other institutions still dealing with the fall out of life in the Golden Triangle and the poverty that prevails in our neighbouring countries as well as, in some cases, the mountains on the Thai side.

Whatever they have been through we aim to give them an experience to remember. A feeding session, an elephant ride, (supposedly) an educational lecture is followed by a picnic munch in the camp and then, sometimes, a little treat up at the hotel itself.

If you are part of an organisation based in the Golden Triangle and would like to bring children to the camp please contact us through the Anantara website or our contact form.
