Peanuts for elephants

20 Apr 2017
24% Donated/$67,925 To Go
While of course we don’t feed our elephants peanuts, they do not cost peanuts to look after either! Most of our elephants are looked after by our single biggest donor, Minor Hotels. We do however still have elephants under the Foundation that need help. It takes approximately US$18,000 to look after a single elephant for a year. Donations will go directly to general camp upkeep and looking after these five lovely elephants.

Wild Elephant Protection

28 Mar 2017
0% Donated/$51,960 To Go
An electric fence will be donated to a national park in the south of Thailand to protect a ranger's station, along with funds for it’s upkeep. It will help maintain good relations between the elephants and the community by reducing the temptation for elephants to eat farmers’ crops. The installation will be scientifically monitored as part of a programme to test the efficacy of different Human Elephant Conflict mitigation methods.
